GP GroupsThere are many different GP support and learning groups that start up and sometimes run for years around Bristol. Typically there are 6-15 members that help meet specific learning needs or non-specific support. These include Higher Professional Education (HPE aka as PCPD (http://www.bristolgpsolutions.nhs.uk/i3.htm), Locum and sessional GP groups, Young Practitioner Groups (YPG), the training, support and book review while you run group (TSBRG), Trainers Workshops (http://www.bristolgpsolutions.nhs.uk/b6_trainers wshop.htm), Research Groups and Balint Groups (see below). If you want to start or join one of these groups email me and I will try to facilitate you joining or starting a group. October 2007Consultations going nowhere? Challenging patients?
