Newly Qualified General PractitionersPost Certificate Professional Development and newly qualified GP support is no longer funded by the Severn deanery and GP school. In early 2010 the Bristol Vocational Training Scheme in line with the GP school's policy has divested itself of its association with and governance of the local continuing professional development programme. Throughout the rest of the Severn Deanery, educational trusts that are independent of the Deanery and GP school have provided CPD for local GPs. Our local Bristol CPD programme has been known as the Bristol GP solutions CPD programme and was responsible for most of the popular programme of CPD courses held mostly at Engineers House in Clifton. The successors to Bristol GP solutions CPD are two new organisations. One is run by Avon LMC and has organised a full programme of events at Engineers House for its subscribers. The other is Bristol GP education is run by Jo Hennessey and also has a full programme of event at Engineers House for its subscribers. If you have any suggestions about how we can improve this section email them to contact@bristolgpsolutions.org.uk |
