How to make changes to the website

We want the website to be up to date and informative, and ensure that changes can be made quickly and easily.

  1. Suggestions for changes can come from a variety of sources including feedback from users. Feedback on web pages can be made via the email address on that page, and the request for changes will be passed to the named person responsible for the web page. Terry Kemple is responsible for the website, and for any orphan web pages without a person responsible named on that page.
  2. Each page should have a named person responsible for keeping it up to date.
  3. The named person responsible for keeping a web page up to date should take be active in maintaining the page.
  4. When you want to make a change:
If you are the named person responsible for the web page email your instructions to Jonas Andersson at Visual Productions (jonas@visualproductions.co.uk)
If you are not the named person responsible for the web page email your request to the named person responsible for the web page.
If you know that the named person responsible for the web page agrees with the changes email your instructions to Jonas Andersson at Visual Productions and state who you are and confirm that 'the named person responsible for the web page agrees with the changes' and copy the email requesting changes to the named person responsible for the web page.
  5. The format for requesting changes is not so important as long as it's clear and concise. It's very frustrating and takes much longer when you have to be asked for clarification.
  6. If you want a link from the text on the web page to another document you must ensure that any attached document has got exactly the same name as in the text, or at least make it clear which document it refers to. It may be perfectly clear to the you but it's not always clear to the web team.
